As CEO of Correlation Consulting, Georgette Wong works with families, foundations, pension plans, and corporations to maximize their financial return AND positive impact in the world. She is a recognized leader in the field of impact investing, those investments that simultaneously create financial return and positive social and environmental value. Georgette provides top-level education about impact investing, participates on investment committees and creates strategies that endure.

She has advised various foundations including the WK Kellogg Foundation and the Levi Strauss Foundation as well as various private families and individuals on their impact investing strategies. Georgette has presented on impact investing before the US Senate, the US State Department, the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment, the American Evaluation Association and Exponent Philanthropy (formerly the Association of Small Foundations), among others. She released Insights and Innovations: A Global Study of Impact Investing + Institutional Investors at the U.S. Secretary of State’s Global Impact Economy Forum in 2012. For this study, Georgette interviewed 51 wealthy families, foundations, pension funds, corporations and development financial institutions representing a total of $2.5 trillion from around the globe about their impact investing practices.

From 2007-2012 she convened and curated the Take Action! Impact Investing Summit, which brought together the early pioneers of impact investing (wealthy families, foundations, pension plans, corporations and government entities) in a peer-to-peer learning environment. Financial advisors, fund managers and entrepreneurs were allowed admission after a personal interview and a signed non-solicitation pledge. Her 2012 event brought together 125 asset owners and other investors representing over $4.5 trillion in assets. Since 2007, she has helped catalyze more than $350 million in new commitments to impact investing. Georgette earned her MBA at UCLA Anderson and her BA magna cum laude at Amherst College.
